As we socially distance during this difficult time of COVID-19, it’s more important than ever that we show family and friends how much we care. While Mother’s Day usually involves a decadent brunch and presents with family, this year it’s the little things that matter most. Even a handwritten card or family Zoom call will mean the world to the superwoman who raised you.

This May 10th – and always – we want to show our support for all of the incredible mothers out there, including our own. Below, we’ve asked our Yummie team to share their heartfelt greetings and words of appreciation. Moms, you are our heroes and we can’t thank you enough!

What do you want to thank your mom for this Mother's Day?

Krislyn, Assistant Technical Designer: I want to thank my mom for always being my biggest supporter. She is always able to reassure me that I can do anything I put my mind to accomplishing. It’s like a mom superpower that they always know what you need before you know what you need.

Carolina, Sales Analyst: I want to thank my Mom for all the sacrifices she’s made for me and my family, including helping me become the person I am today.

Madelyn, Design Director: I’d like to thank my mom for imparting the knowledge that I could do anything, be anything, and get through anything I set my mind to. This is something that I’ve been holding close lately in quarantine.

Luke, VP, Planning: I would like to thank my Mom for absolutely everything and for finally retiring from her job at a hospital in Feb, right before the pandemic hit. This way we are not worried sick about her.

What is one thing you admire most about your mother that you would want to tell her this Mother's Day?

Madelyn, Design Director: I’d love to tell my mom that I admire her strength and resilience in times of chaos and uncertainty.

Luke, VP, Planning: My mother is one of the hardest working women on the planet and I truly admire her work ethic.

Carolina, Sales Analyst: The thing I admire most about my mother is that she always, no matter the situation, puts others before her. This Mother’s Day I want to make sure she feels appreciated and loved.
