5-Minute Morning Workout
The most important part of exercise is to wake up your body and give it the energy boost it needs to speed up your metabolism, and warm up your muscles. This is why this 5-minute morning workout is so great! It not only helps you get out of bed, but it also burns about 46 calories in the process (all before you leave your bedroom!).
The plank is the most effective way to strengthen your core and upper body. Using your own body weight, these exercises will help you to tone and tighten your body.
Stretching is just as important as any workout. It will lengthen your muscles and reduce muscle tension, increase range of movement in the joints, enhance muscular coordination, increase circulation, and increase energy levels. No matter how much time you have for your work out, always allot about a third of your time to stretching and hold each stretch for at least 30 seconds!
