She loves gorgeous lingerie from Stella McCartney, La Perla and Myla but knows that designer clothes only look their best with kick-ass undergarments. Below is her review of our latest innovation, The Paperdolls Collection.
I love finding something new and unique in the market. Working on Oprah's O List for many years has helped to hone my skills when it comes to scanning a room and finding something fabulous and exciting. When I caught glimpse of these new shapewear items from Yummie Tummie my Fashion Editor instincts took over and I had to feel them asap! There aren't too many things that get me excited at first glance, but I made a beeline straight towards this group. I noticed unusual colors and pieces that looked like they were of a peculiar fabric to be in the mix of the usual shapewear. I was right! All of the pieces from the Paperdolls Collection feel crisp, smooth and light as air. The colors are a smoky grey (twig), pale pink (flesh) and an opaque black. The fabric is even more unique than I had thought. It's a revolutionary polyamide/elastane mix that literally feels like nothing, yet has amazing shaping qualities. Slide on the Peyton Tank and Billie Briefie and you'll see what I mean. They are light, but offer control. They are slimming, but breathable. Best of all, they stay put! The bonding is smooth and wide, making sure there is no roll up or down (whoo-hoo!).
The Peyton Tank
is long enough to tuck in and the Billie Briefie
is your much-needed high waist brief with tummy control. The Alex Tank
offers fuller coverage over the chest and shoulder area and the Jordan Shortie
is your solution for the biker short shape you love to stop chafing in the thighs. Lastly, there's the Nic Strapless Slip
when you need an all-in-one shaper. I had to do my own wear-test, of course! All of the pieces felt techie and cool. None of them squish your boobs. They stay in place and feel light as air-perfect for everyday shaping especially during the warmer months. When you're looking for a little compression and a lot of fashion, Yummie's Paperdoll group is a great new find! This group will be perfect in my prop kit when dressing real women and celebs. After all, everyone needs a little shaping in the tummy and hip area and these are "fashion stylist approved"! Paperdolls from $48-$98 available in xs-xl by Yummie Tummie
