Heather and Rieva Lesonsky of Growbiz Media caught up with MSNBC's JJ Ramberg on "Your Business."
They discussed the importance of building your personal brand and mentioned that if consumers connect with you on a personal level, they are more likely to buy your product.
Heather touched on her how her brand translates across all platforms. "I am my brand and my brand is me. I have to be careful, I'm on a reality show and want to make sure that who I stand for and what I am comes across clearly no matter what I do," Heather explained. The women went on to discuss the challenges of attracting female consumers and asked small business owners, "Is your product speaking to men, women or both?"
